| the Z32, nor did I care at that age. I suppose you could say my real first encounter was about 6 years ago. I had just only been driving for a year or two, and was consequently just getting interested in cars. I had purchased a silver NA 2+2 Z31 several months earlier, and always liked the 280Z that a friend of the family owned (it also used to belong to my mother before she sold it to said friend). I was in the parking lot of a body shop with my father while some work was being done to the family vehicle and I noticed a wonderfully shaped car (I say wonderfully shaped because someone had just had it painted lime green...). I remember wondering what it was, as I had never actually seen one in person (that I could recall). I stepped around to the rear of the car and saw the 300ZX badging between the tail lights. I was suprised to see that a car with the same badging as mine could look so far superior. I thought to myself that it would be absolutely stunning in black. After a few years with the Z31, I set out to find a 5 speed TT Z32. Several months later, I found my '94 Black Emerald TT, and made the purchase. Never looked back.
